Giants Begin Four-Game Series Against High Desert Tonight
The San Jose Giants begin a seven-game homestand this evening with the first of four straight contests against the High Desert Mavericks at Municipal Stadium. Jason Forjet (1–1, 2.20) is slated to make the start on the mound for San Jose tonight. Forjet will be making his first start of the season after nine relief appearances. After the current series versus High Desert, the Giants continue their homestand with a three-game set against the Bakersfield Blaze beginning on Monday.

Road Trip Review
The Giants posted a 3–4 record on their road trip that concluded last Tuesday. San Jose picked-up one victory in three games at High Desert to start the trip before splitting a four-game series at Inland Empire. The split versus the 66ers snapped a streak of six consecutive road series losses for the Giants dating back to the opening week of the season. San Jose has still not won a road series this year.

Streaking At Muni
The Giants enter tonight’s contest having won a season-high seven consecutive home games. San Jose posted a 7–0 record on their most recent homestand (May 19–25) earning series sweeps of Modesto and Rancho Cucamonga. The Giants are batting .286 as a team to go with a 2.77 ERA at home this season (.247 AVG, 4.61 ERA on the road). San Jose has won nine out of their last ten games at Municipal Stadium (since starting the year 4–10 at home).
